the excel preview

i just watched the the excel overture which gives a brief introduction to the new features found on the new version of excel. i just wanted to point out one new tool that i learned from that exercise that i had not known before, and i think will be very helpful. that new "trick" is the all new keyboard commands. on the new excel every single command can be accessed without moving the mouse. every command can be exacted right from the the keyboard. all you got to do is hold down the "ALT" button and then little letters will appear above the different commands in the ribbon, just look and see which letter/ number the command you want to do is associated with and your work is done.... if you are like me and like doing everything from the keyboard this trick will save you much time especially when working on a laptop, where it is very hard use the mouse as easily as a desk top....... hope to learn a lot more "tricks" this semester... stay tuned
