Case #6

Wow!! by far the most confusing case yet. the actual manipulation of the data on the pages was not too difficult for me, but the different way of saving the different documents was extremely confusing for me. for someone who does not have the strongest background with computers i was a little overwhelmed trying to save the document as a template vs. a workbook, or trying to change the ".xlsx" to ".xltx" but i think by the end of the assignment i had it under control.... one thing i did enjoy about the case was being able to work on many documents at the same time simply by grouping them together. also i thought the hyperlink was pretty cool too.

class brain teaser

i just finished the in class brain teasers and man were they diffucult. i needed some help from my good friends Jason "gason" Jacobs and Daniel "T-Baum" Tennenbaum, but now that i understand the both the nested if and v lookup functions i feel more comfortable with excel. i prefered the nested if function to the vlookup even though it is much more diffucult to program in, i think it makes the logic fit into sequence much more neatly. once you got the sequencing down the if function just sort of falls into place and really manipulates the eqaution into something that can really be useful.
