It's Hard to Say Goodbye

I just finished my last case grader, it was number 12 understanding visual basic. I have really learned so much this semester. coming in i believed this class was just going to be a follow up class to MIS with a little more depth. boy was i wrong, the guys at excel really came up with quite the powerful tool. this class took a head first dive into understanding excel, it was way more advanced then the excel portion of MIS. while it would take years to really understand all that excel has to offer i did learn a lot of very helpful tools to keep on my tool belt for the future.we learned how to create a payment calculator and how to set up all sorts of graphs to have visual aids in understanding the numbers. we learned how to make macros and how to accompany those macros with visual basic which really makes excel come to life, and can help create very helpful shortcuts that can save a lot of time.he tools that will help a business get the most out of its operations and keep track of its inventory with great ease.
I came into MIS not really knowing all that much about Microsoft office, all i could do was write a simple looking document on Word and even that was difficult for me, fast forward one year and i feel like i have a very firm gasp on office applications in particular excel. in fact i have started to use excel in my personal life. i have create a monthly budget for myself using excel and i record my monthly credit card payments on excel. i am sure that when the time comes to take out a bank loan for myself i will use more the excel tools i learned to figure out how much the different banks are trying to screw me over. so i would say that my progress in excel has really grown by leaps and bounds. i enjoyed the challenges presented by the cases and sometimes i needed to refer to friends for help getting through them, but all in all i found them challenging yet relaxing. i would usually do the cases during my leisure time or even while lying in bed. when something is challenging but not overbearingly so, like the cases were, i enjoy the mental stimulation involved.
Overall i just want to say thank you professor for helping all of us through the semester and for being the kind and caring person that you are
